Qual­i­fic­a­tion of Folk Art­works

A qualified work of applied folk art is a registered item of the Museum of Applied Hungarian Folk Art in category "MR" or "MT". Qualification may be applied for at the Applied Folk Arts Department of the Hungarian Heritage House. Applications should be addressed to the General Manager. The qualification procedure is the responsibility of the Applied Folk Art Qualification Board.

  8. Pottery
  9. Rush, straw and corn-husk objects
  10. Fisher nets, ropes
  11. Decorated eggs
  12. Embroidery
  13. Barrels
  14. Blue dye cloths
  15. Hats
  16. Knives
  17. Metalwork
  18. Saddlery
  19. Handmade candles
  20. Ginger bread figures
  21. Naive sculptures
  22. Felt
  23. Folk jewelry (enamel, pearl)
  24. Folk instruments

  26. Handmade dolls in folk costumes

Trademark

The Applied Folk Arts Section of the Hungarian Heritage House issues trademarks to ensure that certain items are qualified. Trademark may be bought at the Applied Folk Arts Section of the Hungarian Heritage House.
