This authentic folklore program of the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble is an exciting and representative selection demonstrating our colorful folkdance art.
The Annual Solo Folkdance Meet in Békéscsaba is a renowned tradition among professional and semi-professional Hungarian folkdance groups. This meet provides a chance for young dancers to show their talent and commitment to authentic Hungarian folk art. The best male and female solo performers receive the titles "Dancer with Golden Spurs" and "Dancer with Golden Pearl" respectively.
