The international partner for English Folk Expo will be Hungary this year, represented by the biggest cultural institution for traditional culture, the Hungarian Heritage House.
The institution delegates excellent Hungarian musical performers and industry representatives for the event.
Hungary will be the highlight of the annual English Folk Expo which this year runs from the 21st until the 24th of October, the weekend before WOMEX, bringing a selection of promising and well known artists and a chance for the professional delegates to get an introduction to the folk, roots and acoustic music of the focus country as a whole.

The Hungarian Heritage House will host an exclusive private showcase for delegates as well as having a presence across the whole weekend at the trade fair through the attendance of a large delegation of Hungarian industry representatives. Moreover, the selected bands are going to perform at the public Manchester Folk Festival as well.
